Wise Co., TX. m 1 Sept 1887 in Boyd, Wise Co TX, Zula Ann Portwood b 10
June 1867 Neshobo Co MS, d 16 Jan 1957 Rocky, Washita Co., OK. Both are buried
in Friendship Cemetery Boyd Wise Co., TX.

Ray b 20 Sept 1888, Wise Co TX, d 22 April 1968 Hobart, Kiowa Co OK; and Johnnie
Bruce, a daughter b 10 Dec 1889 Boyd, Wise Co., TX. d 15 Nov 1960 Hobart, Kiowa
Co., OK. Johnnie Bruce was born after the death of her father and was
named after him and an uncle (William Bruce Portwood) that had died at about the
same time.
