ECAFA Minutes
January 6, 2003
Several members of the ECAFA attended the Randolph County
Genealogy Society (RCGS)
meeting this evening. In attendance were:

RCGS President, George Bains, presided over the meeting.
ECAFA Treasurer
James Eugene Allred explained that we had received the official
approval for IRS T
ax Exempt 501(c)3 status in December 2002. Per the
"Agreement for Pass-Through
Contribution" signed by the RCGS and Alton
and Dorothy Garner (June 2002), we were
giving official notification to the RCGS
of our 501(c)3 status. The RCGS acknowledged
the Agreement and voted to
transfer the deed for the Allred -Trogdon Cemetery to the
ECAFA. RCGS Vice
President, Don Bulla, agreed to meet at the lawyer's office
(Smith and
Alexander) with James Eugene Tuesday morning, January 7, 2003, to
transfer the
deed. James Eugene will have the deed recorded later that same morning.
The ECAFA will meet January 16, 2003 at Best Foods Cafeteria
in Siler City at 6pm.
The agenda will include planning activities and
goals for 2003. All are invited to attend.
